Blind Design was started in 1995 by its founder Jim Morton, concentrating in his local area selling Blinds ,Shades and Plantation shutters the company quickly made an impact in the window treatment business in Altamonte Springs by way of it,s offering of free estimates,competitive pricing, quality of products and most importantly the level of customer service and satisfaction.

Within a short time span Jim's reputation had spread and the company now covered the central Orlando areas (and sometimes beyond !).By providing good quality products (which were mainly manufactured in the USA ) ,excellent pricing and often unrivalled customer service the company became a very popular name in window treatments.

Although the company advertised in the ‘Yellow Pages' over 80% of work generated from estimates came from referrals……..this important fact remains to-day!!!! Now that cannot be said for many other companies in the same line of work.

Jim became very popular and very very busy but this did not take away his eye for detail and jobs were completed with precision…..he was totally commited to customer satisfaction.

In 2005 Jim retired and the company was purchased by the Martin family ,who made a firm commitment to maintaining the excellent record of Blind Design and by further investment have made it possible to increase sales without compromising quality and price.

Blind Design is now based in Apopka and due to its increased investment now covers a larger area of Central Florida including Orange,Seminole,Volusia, Brevard, Osceola, Polk, Sumter and Flagler Counties

To date the list of satisfied customers has grown at a very fast rate and the company now has an extensive client list covering the Central Florida area including repeat customers from Palm Coast, Daytona Beach , Davenport , Cleremont, Groveland, New Smyrna Beach , Saint Cloud , Eustis, Kissimmee,Melbourne and Merrit Island .
